- Tan Thieu was born in 1981, and is a self-taught artist. He paints mostly impressionist realism , portraiture and cityscapes.
The subtleties of colour and brushstrokes are both strong and vivid, making elements like the street lamps and neon signs in his works illuminate.. His paintings capture the wonderful moments of modem life in the city which never seems to sleep.
